EPA Awards 175K to NYSDEC for Diesel Hybrid Patrol Boat

The New York Department of Environmental Conservation will use the $175,915.00 towards the purchase of a new thirty-six foot diesel hybrid enforcement patrol boat. The new patrol boat will be used to safeguard the Hudson River and will save 8000 gallons of diesel fuel per year. With diesel fuel prices around $4.00 a gallon, that's a savings of $32,000.00 per year.
